Alasdair Campbell won the Senior Boys race…. quite a bit in front of the other runners!!
Emma Hayes came 3rd in the Senior Girls race…. with a mighty strong finish to get her into the medals!!
Melissa Coull won her age group…. excellent run and part of the winning team .. 1st, 2nd & 3rd for Montrose Academy!!
Also Well done to Kolby Philips, Alyx Macgregor, Rowan Walker, Eilidh Campbell & Emma Gunn for completing the races with a good performance.

Scottish Secondary Schools Cross Country Championships
2 of our athletes were there competing for their school, Montrose Academy.
Rowan Walker ran well in very muddy conditions to place 102nd in her race.
Alasdair Campbell finished strongly in 34th place in his race.
SSAA Indoor Championships – Wednesday 1st February 2017
2 of our athletes were there competing for their school, Montrose Academy.
Emma Hayes had fantastic day and new PB, clearing 2.60m in the Over 16’s Girls Pole Vault – winning 3rd place Bronze medal!!
Emma Gunn also had a great day and new PB, throwing 9.77m in the Under 16’s Girls Shot Putt – coming 5th overall!!
